Galileo spacecraft in front of Jupiter Galileo spacecraft in front of Jupiter

The Galileo at 30 Celebration will celebrate the legacy of NASA’s Galileo mission to Jupiter. Sponsored by JPL and the Caltech Keck Institute for Space Studies, the event will be held at Caltech’s Chen 100 Lecture Hall on December 8, 2025, marking 30 years + 1 day from the spacecraft’s historic orbit insertion. The program will feature invited talks from scientists whose groundbreaking discoveries with Galileo data transformed our understanding of Jupiter and its satellites and set the stage for future missions. The event will be followed by an evening panel discussion for the public. This event is an invitation only event and space will be limited. Please contact Bob Pappalardo for more information.
